Yellow Pitahaya

The Fruit Of The Sun

About Us

  • We are an ecuadorian agricultural farm established in 2005, whose main objective is the production and export of yellow pitahaya. We are located along the banks of the Caoni river, surrounded by the six magical waterfalls of Pedro Vicente Maldonado´s county and in the midst of Pichincha´s tropical rainforest.
  • Our farm sits on a privileged geographical area where the characteristics of soil, humidity and altitude are ideal factors for the production of premium quality yellow pitahaya. Our post harvest process is highly sophisticated and automated, allowing us to guarantee optimal food processing and the consistency desired by our clientes.
  • The continuous search to satisfy our customers´needs has lead us to become pioneers in product development.  In addition to the fresh yellow pitahaya, we also offer heat-dried yellow pitahaya, produced under the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • We export our fruit to the american, asian and european markets, places where we have captivated consumers´ palates throughout time.
  • Behind each yellow pitahaya sold there are 44 dedicated ecuadorian employees, whose work philosophy combined with discipline, systematization and technological implementation have lead us to become a benchmark within the industry from the outset.

Labels

  • Our production system adheres to Good Agricultural Practices, which is why we were the first ecuadorian pitahaya producing farm to obtain the GLOBALG.A.P. label back in 2008, one that we maintain up to now.
  • During 2018 we earned the GRASP certification, with the objective of ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees.
  • Also during 2018 we obtained the local BASC label, with the aim of promoting secure international trade.
